- Through a freaky twist of fate, Esam Salleh and Aimee King met and moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and thus planted was the seed to their lovechild, Nikotina. Born out of wedlock and the smoky nights they shared together as a couple, they shared the same vision of Nikotina being a representation of their experimental and freaky side. Like most beautiful things, the birth of Nikotina’s “collectible” line was accidental. It serves as another branch from the initial dark seed. Thus, in 2007 ,Nikotina Collectibles was conceived, equally loved and adored. The husband and wife collective experimented more with other mediums as they furthered their pursuit of creative bliss. Inspired by Mexican Luchadores, the Abominable Snowman, Surrealism and bondage, only time will tell.
